Terms & Conditions (T&C)
1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions apply to the rental of the holiday accommodation "Villa Sansibar" by Torsten Markert to guests via the official website as well as platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com.
2. Booking and Contract
By booking the accommodation, the guest submits a binding offer to conclude a rental agreement. The contract becomes valid upon confirmation by the host.
3. Payment Terms
The full amount must be paid in advance. No deposit payment is required. Cash payments on site are not possible.
4. Check-in and Check-out
Check-in is generally available from 3:00 PM and check-out until 12:00 PM. Different times may be arranged individually depending on flight schedules and availability.
5. Use of Accommodation
The accommodation may only be used by the number of guests stated in the booking. The minimum age for booking guests is 18 years.
6. Smoking and Pets
Smoking is only permitted in outdoor areas. Pets are not allowed.
7. WiFi and Power Supply
The WiFi network is currently still under development. Until completion, guests may use the WiFi of a neighboring hotel. Starting in July, Villa Sansibar will additionally be equipped with a photovoltaic system to help compensate for occasional power outages on Zanzibar.
8. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing.
up to 30 days before arrival: free of charge
29 to 14 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount
less than 14 days before arrival or no-show: 100% of the total amount
No refund will be granted in case of early departure.
9. Liability
The host is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to guests' personal belongings. Use of the accommodation and all facilities is at the guest's own risk.
10. Final Provisions
Should any provision of these Terms & Conditions become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
